What is a Devacut?
The DevaCut was created by the Devachan Salon and is a special technique for cutting curly, wavy or coily hair. The cut is more about making each curl look its best and not just a way to “tame” the curls. The cut is created on dry hair so the stylist sees how each curl will fall and each individual curl is shaped.

FOR ALL TEXTURES

Client MUST arrive DETANGLED . $50 Detangle Fee will be added if Knotted. $50 For 30 Minutes of Detangling Please come LIGHTLY styled, not too much Gel, Creams or other products. Also NO BUNS NO PONYTAIL NO BRAIDS OR TWISTS ITS IMPERATIVE THAT I CAN SEE EACH AND EVERY CURL. if you arrive however you will be turned away and asked to reschedule. Thank you.

Cancellations
If you cannot make it to your appointment, please notify within the minimum of 24 hours in advance.
No call/no shows will be charged 100% of the service.

Late Fee
A late fee of $10 will be charged ten minutes into the appointment. After 20 min, your appointment is subject to a cancellation.

Refunds
I do not offer refunds on any service. However, should a concern arise, I will be happy to accommodate a remedy when notified within 72 hours of original service.

What is the DevaCut Express service?
The DevaCut Express Service is a dry-cutting reshaping service for all natural textures that takes 30 minutes or less. No sink work required! Keep in mind that this new service is not intended for every client. In short, if you are or have a first-time DevaCut client, this is not the ideal service. Instead, the DevaCut Express is more of a dusting and trimming service designed to keep the shape and health of the curls in between full DevaCuts. We recommend this service for clients who have had a full DevaCut within the past 3 months. The condition of the hair can also play a factor in determining if the client is the right candidate for the DevaCut Express. If the client’s last cut was over 3 months ago or their hair is in poor condition, we recommend a full DevaCut.

Who is the best candidate for the DevaCut Express service?
The DevaCut Express service is the dry-cutting reshaping service for all natural textures that takes 30 minutes or less. No sink work required! Keep in mind that this new service is not always intended for every client. In short, if you are a first-time DevaCut client. The DevaCut Express is more of a dusting and trimming service designed to keep the shape and health of the curls in between full DevaCuts. If you are however extremely comfortable receiving just the cut/shape/trim/dusting this is the service is perfectly made for you.

How should I/my client prep the curls before coming in for this service?
We recommend coming in on your/their favorite curl day. If that’s day 2 curls, you/they should plan accordingly. It should be detangled and styled as normal. AGAIN, Client MUST arrive DETANGLED . $50 Detangling Fee will be added if Knotted. Please come LIGHTLY styled, not too much gel, creams or other products. Also NO BUNS NO PONYTAIL NO BRAIDS OR TWISTS ITS IMPERATIVE THAT I CAN SEE EACH AND EVERY CURL...

NEED AN ADJUSTMENT?
Free Adjustments. If anything looks off . SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING ! These curls can be unpredictable at times. 2 weeks is plenty of time to notice a rogue curl. Please contact me. Don’t be shy , accidents happen ! I really would prefer to fix it for you.

Can I bring my own products?
YES, Absolutely. All guests are welcome to bring in their own products. My only goal is to teach you how to use what you already own rather recommend another product line.

Do you ONLY use Devacurl?
NO, I use a number of lines because everyones hair needs and wants different things. My only goal is to teach each and every client TECHNICAL Training so no matter what you pick up, your curls will thrive.
